2. Freight Broker
Salary Negotiable based on Experience!
We offer a $50,000 Base Salary + Commission.
Schedule Mon-Friday with some weekend availability.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job description: We are looking for a responsible, organized administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks within the Accounting Department.
We are a small company, looking for a part-time or full-time employee looking to grow with us.
Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you have previous experience as a secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. 4. NIGHT DISPATCH

· This role begins in Night Operations, where you’ll learn the core of our business—managing shipments, communicating with carriers, and problem-solving in real time.
· After approximately 12 months in Night Operations, you’ll have the opportunity to transition to our day shift and enter our Logistics Account Executive Trainee (LAET) program.
· The LAET program is a 7-month hands-on training track designed to take your operations knowledge and develop your sales and customer relationship skills, preparing you to become a full-time Logistics Account Executive.

Responsibilities:
· Accepting customer loads upon approval of the Logistics Account Manager, building loads, booking loads, organizing loads, and tracking loads
· Notifying customers of freight arrivals, pickups, movement, and deliveries
· Maintaining lines of communication with carriers, customers, shipping, and receiving facilities
· Data entry into fleet management systems and online customer/vendor platforms
· Retaining records of purchase orders and performing various administrative or clerical support tasks
· Contacting customers, carriers, or distribution facilities to resolve problems or make adjustments as needed
· Continuously communicating with the Logistics Account Manager and trainee(s) to ensure proper maintenance of accounts
· Negotiating contracts for individual freight shipments

Koola Logistics is a family owned and operated freight brokerage focused on offering mentorship to students.
Our internship program takes place during the summer and offers hands-on experience where they can use in any career path they choose.
